Pre existing conditions haven’t been a reason to deny or charge more for insurance in the US for about 6 years now.  I was referring to the increased rates for pre-existing conditions, which is much less cut-and-dried. I agree it'd be near impossible to outright deny someone for pre-existing conditions.
